Dear Countdown Team,
I hope you’re well.
I wanted to share some feedback regarding your recent update. Unfortunately, I’ve found that the changes have made the app less user-friendly than before.
One of the main issues is the font size, which now appears smaller and harder to read. More importantly, the process of adding an event or reminder has become more complicated. Previously, it was very straightforward—you could quickly select a date and clearly see the day, date, and month all at once. This made it easy to confirm everything at a glance.
With the new update, selecting a date requires multiple steps. You now have to click through, double-check whether the selected day corresponds correctly (for example, Thursday or Wednesday), and then press “Set Date” to confirm. This introduces unnecessary extra clicks and increases the chance of mistakes.
In fact, on one occasion, I entered a reminder but forgot to press “Set Date,” and it defaulted to today’s date without me realising. That kind of behaviour can easily lead to missed or incorrect reminders.
While I understand that updates aim to improve the app, this particular change feels like a step back in terms of usability. The previous version was quicker, clearer, and more intuitive. The added calendar view and extra steps, in my opinion, complicate what used to be a very simple process.
I hope you’ll consider this feedback for future updates. Sometimes simplicity is what makes an app truly effective.
Kind regards,
